However, going towards Net Zero can be a complicated journey without expert assistance, so they sought external support.

Morgan Jones hired Beyond Procurement to analyse their Scope 1 and 2 emissions, allowing benchmarking of carbon emissions and reduction strategies.
This was fully funded by the Kent Green Recovery Voucher Scheme, administered by Kent County Council, of which Beyond Procurement are Preferred Suppliers for carbon reduction services.
The company generated a very small carbon footprint, highlighting the efficiencies already implemented. However they still wanted to do more.
They are already reducing office waste by supplying employees with sustainable equipment and encouraging a cycle to work scheme.
Moving forward, Morgan Jones will be analysing their supply chain to determine the environmental actions their suppliers and are taking action to offset their remaining carbon by purchasing a verified tree planting scheme to become Carbon Neutral.
