The problem
Although the team at YayLo had the passion and yearning to be more environmentally conscious, they didn’t have the staff, time or expertise to complete an analysis on their own.
Our solution & outcome
Supported and funded by Reading BID, Beyond Procurement stepped in to calculate their carbon footprint as well as write a strategy to reduce further emissions.
By switching to renewable tariffs, the coffee shop will remove up to 6.5 tonnes of CO2e from their operation which is more than an 85% reduction in their emissions.
