The Problem

Segensworth Autos has a drive to become more sustainable and reduce its environmental impact, along with future-proofing the business against rising energy prices. Having been made aware of the LoCASE grant, Segensworth Autos wanted help with registering for the grant, and getting suppliers to provide quotes.

Solution and Outcome

In conjunction with Winchester City Council, the Team at Beyond Procurement contacted Segensworth Auto to understand what their initiative involved, and where they were in the process. Highlighting the LoCASE grant, and signposting to the registration link. 5 solar installers were referred, with 2 providing quotes. The project, when complete, will reduce carbon emissions by an estimated 3.5 tonnes per year, and represent an energy cost saving of £1500 pa.
