The Problem

Quiddity Media Ltd is a small business run from a single home office. Although they have a passion and dream to be more sustainable, actually calculating their carbon footprint was an endeavour that would be too hard to tackle without Beyond Procurements’ assistance.

Solution and Outcome

Beyond Procurement was brought in to analyse the company’s emissions (Scopes 1 &2) to help create a strategic Carbon Reduction Report. By already being on a renewable tariff for their energy consumption with Eon, Quiddity Media Ltd was able to remove 3.41 tonnes from their carbon footprint.

This footprint (3.43 tonnes of CO2) was later offset to make the business carbon-neutral for 2022. In 2023, the business plans to assess how to make the business more sustainable and emit even less CO2 by potentially investing in better insulation or glazing for their buildings windows.
